Emergent Layer! You did Know.  Way to go!!
That was a hard climb to get all the way up here.  We are more than 200
feet off the ground up here.  Don't fall!  Only a few trees make
it to this layer of the rainforest.  Trees up here have thick waxy leaves
to protect them from all the sun. look, there is creatures living up here too!
