A. Introductory Activity -
Teacher will ask students if they have ever visited the island and if they already know something about Puerto Rico.B. Step-by-step -
After introductory activity, the students will be in groups of two.
Then they will be directed by the teacher to begin exploring the website.
Each student will have a blank map to jot down some important towns they see and what they learned about the town.C. Closure -
After they have completed the blank map worksheet,
they will gather together in the classroom to share and discuss what they have discover.D. Adaptations for different learners -
Students will be working in groups to help each other answer questions and discover new material together.
The teacher will be going around to make sure students are on task and to answer any questions.
Teacher will also help solve any issues that may arise.Evaluation:
The students will be able to name at least 3 different features that are found in Puerto Rico.
They will be evaluated by their responses to the blank map quiz
that will be given after the students have been able to explore each town with more depth.Concerns or Questions -
Some questions may be too hard or too easy .
