Meet Your Teachers!

Hello and welcome to fourth grade! My name is Nicolas Abodeeb and I am excited to begin working with you this year. This is my second year teaching. I graduated from Westfield State University in 2014 where I earned an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Art. While attending college I worked as a one-to-one paraprofessional with students with severe special needs, adding to my experience of working in the school system. Currently I am working on completing my master’s degree in Special Education. Over the summer I enjoy hiking and camping. In addition to camping and hiking, I enjoy working with mixed media, including clay, to create art. I am excited to meet each of you to learn more about your hobbies and interests and I can’t wait to start our adventure filled with learning!

Hello there! This will be my third year teaching at West River Elementary School. I graduated from Westfield State University in 2014 with a degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in art.  I am currently in the process of working to earn my master's degree. I grew up in the beautiful Berkshires, located in Western Massachusetts.  Some of my interests include dancing, swimming, arts and crafts, relaxing with family/friends, and giving love to furry friends.  I have two dogs named Mickey and Sara, as well as a one-eyed cat named Fidge!   I cannot wait to get the year started and get to know each of the wonderful students in our classroom!
