Gizmo is our class pet. We adopted him in September and he has been in our 2nd grade class ever since!
Gizmo can be taken home Friday thru Sunday each weekend as long at the parents are okay with it.
If a student wants to watch Gizmo for the weekend, they are asked to take a sign up sheet home.
They need to receive a parents signature in order to take Gizmo home!
The student will prepare a small "suitcase" for Gizmo containing food and his most favorite toys, including his ball!
Students have taken turns throughout the year cleaning out Gizmo's cage and
feeding him on a daily basis. The students also have time during the day where they take
Gizmo out for some exercise!
Our class is very responsible, which is why this is a great idea for students to take Gizmo home!
