My name is Sydney Castonguay. I'm
currently an undergraduate student at Westfield
State University. My major is Elementary Education
with a math concentration. In my free time, I enjoy
cheerleading, writing, and doing yoga. In addition
to training to become a teacher, I am a tutor and a
Gymnastics coach. Teaching runs in my family- my
mom, grandmother, uncle, great aunt, and cousin are
all teachers. I was born and raised in Holyoke,
Massachusetts and graduated 4th in my class from
West Springfield High School in 2014. I have one
younger sister, Olivia, and two cats (Oreo and
Saltalamacchia). I spend my summers on Cape Cod with
my Grandparents. I love traveling; I've been to
California, Seattle, Oregon, Washington D.C.,
Florida, Grand Cayman, and more! I believe it is
important to incorporate technology in the
classroom. As the world is becoming more and more
technologically advanced, we need to teach our
students how to properly use this technology. We
will focus on ways technology can help us with our
school work. Please feel free to stop by and talk
with me any time you have questions!
