Herman is our class pet, and he
is a teddy bear hamster. Herman lives in his cage in
our classroom and loves to run on his hamster wheel.
He also likes to dig holes in his bedding so that he
can cuddle up and sleep when he is tired from running.
We will assign different students to feed him and
change his water each week. Herman loves to nibble, so
we can't hold him, because he might mistake our
fingers for food! We hope everyone gets to enjoy
watching over and taking care of Herman this year, we
know he is going to love it.
