Here there is a list of websites to use as resources to help you as parents with your children in and out of the classroom.



This website has articles and resources for parents with children who have special needs. This site can help with making decisions on anything that can be involved with a special needs child. This includes articles on medications, how to teach at home, activities, jobs, signs, and services.

This site has articles, activities and information about how parents, teachers and students can all interact with one another to be successful. This site is also a resource for parents to look up activities and programs to teach their children for outside and inside the classroom. It also discusses scholarships, after school activities, and involvement with the organization with schools all around the United States.

This website can be used by parents to see where your child is with their reading levels, help with developing higher reading levels, and help manage the reading skills they already have. This source also gives examples of readings for students of all levels as well as quizzes them afterwards to see how their progress is coming along. The site can also help find reading materials for students outside and inside of a library.

This website can help parents with education about health, fitness, school work, parenting, parties, and child developments. Parents are able to look up activities to teach their child outside of the classroom and ways for teachers to help their students with math and reading. There are blogs about how to teach children and educate them from other parents.

This site has a list of healthy snacks for their children to bring to school. It states the top 20 healthy snack for students and reasons for why they are healthy for both you and your child. There are also directions in text and video form teaching parents how to make these snacks at home.

This website has all the information about bullying. It goes over who is most likely to be a bully and a victim and how to prevent bully as well as what to do when a child is bullying another. There are training sites to help with the aspect of bullying in the classroom, at home and in the community. This site is also a good resource for students to look over. This site has video clips about aspects of bullying from an educators perspective, a parents perspective, a bully perspective and the victim's perspective.

This site is a blog for mother parents nation wide. There are links from all aspects on being a parent from cooking to crafts to couponing. The blog lets parents talk to one another about ideas they have on a given topic. This can be helpful for parents when one does not understand the topic and needs background information as well as what other parents fell about it.
