elementary school. Check
them out and hopefully they are useful to you
throughout the

PBS Parents: This site provides creative and educational ideas for you parents to do with your
 kids, maybe on a rainy day or for a science project.


Box Tops for Education: Discover how to help out the school by getting box tops from certain products and
 turning them in to get cash for the school.


Scholastic: The parent portion of this site provides a variety of information about reading levels and suggests
 books for
your own child based on age and interest.


Family Education: This website has information for parents for all ages of children. The school and learning
section provides a lot of helpful information about subject areas, learning differences, and
parental involvement in school.


PTA: If you are considering being a part of the Parent-Teacher Association, this site will give you information about
 how to sign up and from there how you can help your school community.


Internet 4 Classrooms: This site includes helpful tips and strategies for parents from homework help, to reading and math
 help, to discipline, to information about learning variations.


NEA: This website provides information about the National Education Association and public education
in general, like the common core. It also has helpful tips for parents on how to help their child succeed in school.
