Teacher Resources
Back
Edhelper.com-
I found that
Edhelper.com is a site that relates popular everyday items
and fads to allow kids to have fun while they work. It is
important that kids do not feel as though learning is a
burden, but something that is a positive and interesting
experience. Through this site, kids can accomplish that.
weareteachers.com-
This is a very helpful resource because it
was written by one person but several teachers can relate.
It gives many tips that will be essential for your first
year of teaching. It is better to be informed and prepared
of the bad than finding it out and thinking you are alone.
simplesight.com-
This site allows teachers to create a blog or website
step-by-step. This would be extremely beneficial to
teachers because for those teachers who aren't as educated
in technology are able to easily navigate through the
website and create their own website and blog.
schoolexpress.com- This is a
very great and helpful site for teachers because it will
become a tedious task of finding worksheets on the exact
topic you are teaching in the classroom so this site
allows you to create your own website.
Seesaw.me
- This site is a very hands on website that
allows teachers, parents, and students to connect through
a digital portfolio created by the students. They can take
pictures or videos of their work and put it into one place
so that teachers can virtually follow their
students.
Kahoot.it-
Kahoot is a very commonly known website that incorporates
a game into a review session for tests. This is a way for
everyone in the classroom to interact and makes reviewing
not so tedious.
SciShow-
This is a YouTube channel with scientific videos that are
all under the time of 5 minutes. For younger students,
they can easily become distracted when the videos teachers
show are too long. This site has short, education content,
that is geared especially toward young students.
