UPCOMING REMINDERS

FIELD TRIP TO MYSTIC AQUARIUM SOON!
Our class field trip to Mystic Aquarium is coming up in less than one month! We are still looking for 2 more chaperones, if you are interested.
Students and parents/guardians, please remember to sign the permission slip that was given to you last week and bring it in by next Friday.
This will be our first field trip of the school year, and I hope everyone is very excited!

 THE SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR NEXT FRIDAY!
Next Friday (Oct.3) is a very exciting day at Jefferson Elementary! The annual Scholastic School Book Fair is in town!  This is a great educational opportunity for our students.
At the book fair, students can buy books, pencils, bookmarks, and more! We ask that parents provide their students with $10 so that they can buy material that they want.
This is optional, but a great opportunity for all!

PICTURE DAY!
Say CHEESE! Picture Day for grades K-5 is next Wednesday, October 1. Students should dress accordingly, as these photos will be documented in the school yearbook!
Purchasing photo packages is optional, but encouraged. Please contact me for more information.

SCHOOL NEWSLETTER
Our lovely school secretaries, Mrs. Slote and Mrs. Bruffee, have begun to assemble a school newsletter monthly! This newsletter includes messages from teachers, class photos, and more!
