THE OWL'S NEST FOR STUDENTS

Hello, Owls! Below are some wonderful links that can help you with any subject that you need help with. These are my personal favorites, so use them wisely!

Abcya
Abcya is a very popular website across the country! There are fun games to play- in fact, these games are so fun that you won't even realize that you're LEARNING and PRACTICING FACTS while you play! Pretty cool, right? Check out Abcya by clicking on the link to the left.
Writing Prompts- Journal Buddies
Journal Buddies is a WONDERFUL resource for my wise owls who want to practice writing... or who just love to write! I suggest using this source to practice, so that in class, when we write, you are a stronger writer than you were before! Check out Journal Buddies by clicking the link to the left.
Math- Learning Games for Kids
Games + Math = FUN AND LEARNING at the same time! Challenge other peers in your class to see who can get high scores, and practice your math facts! This is a great website, which you can check out by clicking on the link to the left.
DC Circuit Builder
This is the website that we used in class in our lesson on electricity! I have linked it here (to the left) so that if you need more practice, or enjoyed the lesson, you may access the Circuit Builder at any time. Enjoy!
Scholastic News
It is so important to keep up with the news! These news articles are interactive, short, and good reading practice! We have also talked in class a lot about Scholastic News. Check these cool articles out by clicking the link to the left.
FunBrain
FunBrain is another popular site around the country! It is also one of my favorites. Practice facts and have fun by clicking the link to the left.
Adapted Mind
Adapted Mind organizes activities by grade and by lesson. If there is one math subject that you would love to improve upon, Adapted Mind most likely has an activity for it! Check it out through the link on the left.
