This is our class pet chinchilla, Niko!
 He is super friendly and loves giving cuddles to all his friends in the classroom.
Niko also enjoys his raisin treats, which students take turns everyday getting to give him one during snack time.
Students will also have the opportunity to make sure that Niko's food dish and water bottle are always filled so he can grow up to be a strong chinchilla.
During free play, Niko loves to run around our magic circle and take turns getting scratched under his chin.
During vacations, Niko will be brought home by the teacher and brought back when class resumes.
